The final round of the "National Competition for Teaching Innovation and Talent Cultivation in Geomatics for Higher Education Institutions—Young Teachers' Lecture Competition" successfully concluded on July 30, 2025, at Inner Mongolia Agricultural University. Jointly hosted by the Education Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography (CSGPC) and the Education and Development Committee of the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association, the event saw Instructor Kang Junhua from our college secure a first prize for her exceptional teaching skills and solid professional expertise.

Since its inception, the "National Competition for Teaching Innovation and Talent Cultivation in Geomatics for Higher Education Institutions" has become one of the most influential and authoritative teaching competitions for young faculty in the field of geomatics science and technology. It is also included in the "Teaching Competitions" special dimension of the 2022 National Teacher Education Development Index for Regular Higher Education Institutions, serving as an important benchmark for evaluating the teachin proficiency and talent cultivation capabilities of young university faculty.
This year's competition attracted 232 participants from 81 universities nationwide. After intense preliminary rounds, 69 contestants advanced to the final. Instructor Kang Junhua, competing with her course "Digital Photogrammetry," successfully passed through multiple selection stages thanks to her innovative teaching design and a poised, engaging classroom performance, ultimately earning a first prize in the national final.
Instructor Kang Junhua’s award is not only a high recognition of her teaching excellence but also a testament to the significant achievements of our college in the teaching reform of geomatics-related courses and the development of our young faculty. This outstanding result injects new vitality into the college's commitment to teaching innovation and provides a powerful practical example for the talent cultivation path of "promoting teaching, learning, and reform through competition."
