Chairman of Geological Engineering at Hebei University of Engineering, have visited the Department of Geological Engineering of our college

On July 20th, 2021, Professor Jin Chao, Chairman of Geological Engineering at Hebei University of Engineering, have visited the Department of Geological Engineering of our college together with Deputy Chairman Liu Jian, Teacher Wang Tiehui, and Teacher Zhang Xiaogang. Chairman Li Ping, Deputy Chairmen Zhu Xinghua, Cao Yanbo, and Shi Yuling of Department of Geological Engineering  at our college have a short communication with them.  Zhu Xinghua gave a detailed introduction to the discipline development of the Department of Geotechnical Engineering of Chang’an University through PPT, and  Li Ping gave a detalied introduction of the current specialty construction. Both sides exchanged and discussed academic development, the quality of enrolling students, teaching program, teacher assessment, engineering certification, and the need for talented people, and especially analysis on the current puzzles, practices, and effects about how to improve the quality of undergraduate training. Both sides believe that such exchanges are extremely beneficial, and they should learn from each other more frequently and to a greater extent, so as to promote the construction of geological engineering disciplines and majors on both sides to a higher level.
