Professor Tonglu Li, Head of Field Scientific Observation and Research Station for the Water Cycle and Geological Environment of the Chinese Loess Plateau, Ministry of Education, led his graduates to check and repaired the monitoring equipment set in Ningde City, Fujian Province and Qingchuan County, Sichuan Province from September 9 to 13, 2021.
On September 9, Professor Tonglu Li and his Ph.D. student Chenxing Wang arrived at the observation site in Ningde City, Fujian Province. They replaced the data acquisition module damaged by heavy rainfall, removed the lysimeter damaged by groundwater immersion, and checked the monitoring equipment in working. In addition, they collected field photos of several typical shallow landslides nearby. After returning to Xi'an in the afternoon, September 11, they and master student Yonglu Dong immediately went to the observation site in Qingchuan County, Sichuan Province next day. They cleared up the monitoring site, removed the lysimeter damaged by the groundwater immersion, maintained the monitoring equipment in working. On September 13, 2021, they completed all the job and returned to Xi'an.
